The Walker 5000 is a cost-effective single masthead weather system which utilises the Walker P1002 weather sensor masthead to provide air temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.
The NMEA output from the P1002 is connected directly via our P293B cable (40 meters as standard) to the Walker P1255 weather indicator.
This well-regarded unit is simple to install on either new build vessels or to retrofit and is expandable with additional indicators.
The Walker 5000 Weather system fully complies with IEC 60945, IEC 61162-2 and IEC 62288.
An optional sensor (P1263) can also be added to measure sea water temperature.
